Xietel Digital Systems Overview and Features*
Xietel Digital PABX Systems, the Xietel ZX Series is a quality telephone system with incredible scalability for small to medium size businesses. The digital technology extends beyond simple voice calls to integration with computer networks, paging systems, door phones, DECT and fax.

At the core of the system is an autonomous digital PABX capable of operating without any PC network as a traditional standalone system. However once connected to your computer network this PABX transforms into a productivity workhorse.

Most other PABXs consists of centralized signal processing on the motherboard and less complex line card interfaces. The result is a size constrained system i.e. you have X number of resources available for X number of ports. Although this may be cost effective for optimal size such as 4 x 8 or 12 x 36 etc. it allows very little room for expansion. The Xietel system distributes the signal processing to the individual line card DSPs resulting in very little centralized resources. This allows the Xietel system to scale effectively from 2 x 4 to 16 x 48 with no changes in the CPU or line cards.

Cost Control*
The Xietel ZX Series has a Telephone Management System (TMS) on board already. The TMS has an extensive range of features which will allow you to effectively manage and evaluate your call expenditure. Forced account codes (PINs) and toll restriction will enable you to stop excessive spending before it occurs.The Xietel also features automatic Least Cost Routing (LCR) which is essential to maximize the saving to be had by using cellular and VOIP routers

Xietel utilizes the latest LSI (large scale integration) technology at manufacturing, resulting in lower component count, smaller size and reduced cost.Xietel line cards are generally 66% smaller and 200% more dense than most products currently on the market. Power consumption is 60% more efficient, resulting in cooler operation for longer operational life. Line cards are protected by the latest lightning protection technology.

Voice logging (recording)*
The Xietel ZX series records all incoming and outgoing calls via exchange lines. This gives you the benefit of not having to buy additional licenses per extension. Xietel allows you to listen to call recordings via the call management system by just clicking on the dialed number.

Auto Attendant*
Auto attendant allows callers to reach the right person faster by routing them automatically. The auto attendant can answer multiple calls simultaneously with different greeting messages. It also has the ability to answer calls in different languages.

Office security and visitor access*
Apart from managing your business communication your Xietel ZX series, is able to multitask by improving your office security and visitor access. The system is able to dial an internal or external number with warning message if the office alarm is triggered. Door phones allow you to control the movement of visitors from separate access points.

Automatic Least Cost Routing (LCR)
Xietel features Automatic LCR which is essential to maximize the savings to be had by using cell and voice over internet routers. LCR automatically selects the appropriate outside line for the number dialed by any of your staff members.

ENUM and DUNDI enable VOIP to lookup alternative destinations and routes based on standard phone numbers, allowing for automatic and effective VOIP routing.
